As long as you are unemployed you are entitled to receive social welfare money, either from Landratsamt (Asylbewerberleistungen) or from Jobcenter. Both institutions cannot be visited personally at the moment.

===== What do you have to do if you receive your social welfare money... =====

==== ...already from the Jobcenter ====

  * they will continue to pay the money by bank transfer to your bank account
  * it is not possible to make appointments with the Jobcenter at the moment (neither with the Arbeitsagentur)
  * If you want to ask a question to the Jobcenter, you can contact them by email to [[Jobcenter-LK-Tuebingen@jobcenter-ge.de]] oder call them on the phone:\\

==== ... not yet from Jobcenter, but want to apply for social welfare money there again, or for the first time ====

  * if for example you lose your current job, you have to inform the Jobcenter
  * you will then have to file an application in order to receive social welfare money from Jobcenter
  * you can send this application by Email to [[Jobcenter-LK-Tuebingen@jobcenter-ge.de]] or put it into the mailbox at their office building in written form
  * Usually you would have to visit the Jobcenter in person for this. But as the office there is closed dor the public, a written application is sufficient.


==== ...from the Landratsamt, to your bank account ====

  * the money will continue to be transferred to your bank account every month
  * at the moment you are not obliged to visit the Landratsamt every month, in order to put your signature to prove that you are still present in Tübingen
  * it is not necessary to file a new application if your previous "Leistungesbescheid" expires. Money will continue to be transferred to you for the time being.


==== ...in cash from Landratsamt ====

  * at certain times, a window is open to the outside of the Landratsamt where you can receive your money in cash from the outside, without entering the building
  * You should ask you social-worker when it is the best time to go there
  * Or you can call the Hotline at Landratsamt and ask for a time slot for your visit:\\
